2 more days to Genting trip with my family members and him! He has never traveled with us before and this shall mark our very first! It is great to make a ‘Genting countdown’ each day just before I leave home to school, and finally I am down to the last 2 days. I guess the attraction of Genting Highlands isn’t what really excites me, but rather the idea of leaving behind all of my bothersome burdens to a foreign land with my loved ones is. You can imagine us to be a group of stressed up people waiting impatiently to break the gate loose in a bid to unwind ourelves. Chris seriously needs to cut himself off from the stressful working environment before he gets berserk; same goes to mum who slogs to make sure money isn’t an issue at home, and my sister who ventured into a whole new nursing field which proves to be nothing short of challenging. That sister of mine is really growing up man! Nobody in our household has ever imagined her to be a caregiver in an elderly home and she has gotten her first paycheck not too long ago! Amazing sister I’ve gotten there. And yea, dad is left out of the picture intentionally because he is solely there to gamble and we are the package that comes with it. HAHA. Now, don’t you think we have enough reason to take a break? Ah, my hard-to-contain excitement is distracting me from school work. I can’t believe how close I am getting to the heavenly Genting and I believe the temperature is going to be freezing cold while we are there.
I am in an extremely high spirits mood now and it feels so great! Dad did keep up his promise of getting 2 abalones, to my amazement, for reunion dinner which is taking place tomorrow evening. A double yay indeed! How I wish the time could freeze so I can enjoy and not worry about life at all. Sigh, reality sinks in yet again…
