ROAR!!! I want my first child back living in my apartment and stay together with the rest of my family members till the end!!! Sob hard!!! Alan is just way to young to talk about being independent, let alone raising the question of living alone although ‘our culture’ in Sims2 will disagree. Strangely, I have exited the game without saving but why is it that the new game state overwrites the previous??? Haiz… I read that once sims move out of the family, it would be impossible to move back again. But…I still can’t get over it !@.@ I need him in the family…

Yea, I’ve been totally absorbed into the world of Sims. Don’t say it is a waste of time because it makes me ponder over certain questions about life, seriously.

First Christmas present

It appears to me like almost every Christmas, majority of the people just have to show this stubborn habit of turning to Santa Claus for their wishes to be granted, but we all know this can never happen. Only your loved ones grant you your wishes and I just had one of mine came true! Christmas this season in the Orchard Road is totally breath-taking! There are live bands singing carols in almost every corner of the streets and blue theme lighting makes one feels ‘cold in the snow’. But everywhere seems to be jam-packed and this is happening few days before Christmas! Can you imagine how bad the human traffic would be on Christmas Day itself? Wish list

Doesn’t festive seasons remind you of what has been on your wish list for as long as you can remember? Christmas is coming and I would like to make a wish list now And it really doesn’t hurt to come out with one where your financial ability makes 90% of the item on the list almost unattainable. It is just for the fun of it! Habitually, I like to go around asking people how they would spend a thousand dollar if it falls from the sky! That is just so me to dream about striking rich and not knowing how to spend it.

Item 1: Canon IXUS 860IS

I desperately in need of a good camera!!! Okay, I give up being a sucker for sleek designs and shall select camera based on its specification, for good! Enough of lousy cameras which snap grainy pictures and my current Casio camera is just that! Although this Canon’s digital camera loses out in terms of its appeal but its functions make up for it. Many ppl swear by Canon’s camera quality. Moreover, it is pointless to select camera for its design when better ones are always springing up fast. For that, I need $600.

Item 2: ASUS EEE PC

UMPC is going to be the next big thing and this Asus EEE PC, which weighs less than a kilogram, is currently the leading model in the market. I’ve seen it in Sim Lim Square but too bad it can’t be swiveled to turn into a tablet PC. Apart from that, 2-3 hours of battery life doesn’t quite appeal to me so I shall wait for better models to be out. But life can be instantly great if I had one. I could read news online lying on the bed and need not worry abt damaging the hard disk as this comes in solid state(?) memory. Tagged at $670.

I am not dumb

Yes Mr Koh, I am not dumb and I do count my every hard earn cent well thank you! He is being a total idiot and I am so glad to be asleep when he called or else I might have already fallen into his trap! What a hypocrite he must be for acknowledging the tuition assignment as relatively underpaid and not directly pointing out to me about the further deduction in my new hourly pay! That is exactly what people do to benefit themselves; whoever is being implicated they do not care!

The reason why I wanted another better paying job was because I had enough of being a victim of exploitation. But looks like I am walking in circle around the spot where I’ve been trying hard to leave.

Tutor

YES!! Mr Koh has finally called and gave me my very first tuition assignment! Although everything has yet to finalize, but I am sure things would turn out just the way I expect it. Geez, I am so happy till I can’t sleep! For the very first time, I am going to have alternative earning revenue other than my underpaid, pathetic, and zero-welfare boutique assistant job!

Although this assignment-according to my friend who is a tutor too-does not pay me accordingly to the market rate, but I really don’t mind comprising because this family is not well-off. So this is for a good cause too! Somehow this family reminds me of my mum who is willing to fork out money despite the financial constraint and have someone to coach me through my primary school days.

Ah, I can’t wait for my first assignment to commence. Are those 2 girls going to be easy to coach? I really can’t wait to find out the answer!

Together when… live performance

She sounded terrible in this performance but that doesn’t make her a lousy singer. The only thing that bugs me about this performance(and some others) was her incomprehensible singing technique that came across as unbearable. She could do better without the out-of-breath ending note.

Sinner who loves eating beef

Among all the Japanese restaurants I have patronized so far, Sushi Tei offers the cheapest and-allow me to say-best Sukiyaki in Singapore. Yea, I am a sucker for Japanese cuisine and wouldn’t mind consuming a month long of Japanese cuisine just to prove this.My thumb of rules to eating salmon is this: Do not even attempt to savor Salmon Sashimi without first dipping it into soya sauce with a blend of wasabi and nobody gobs them down without first chewing okay? ROARR!! I have witnessed a couple of such incidents and that is just so unfortunate. Are they crazy to swallow such expensive fish or what? How sad!

Okay, I’ve sidetracked. Now back to beef. Yea, I am a cow lover, literally. Black and white and always moo-ing. They are adorable in cartoon illustration like the ones in Ben & Jerry advertising campaign. Not just that, kids grow up healthy consuming dairy products like milk, cheese and etc. In some countries, cows are considered sacred due to its economic benefits. But someone decided someday to start skinning and tasting its meat. I don’t know much about the food chain but I know human intervention has brought about drastic changes. Well, I do feel guilty for consuming beef and indirectly causing the death of something so lovely. But well, this is how the world operates right?

Ayumi Hamasaki 9th album

This is ayu’s 9th album cover art and ain’t she making all jaws dropping? I have adored her since secondary school days and she earns my respect for being real. Unlike other artists, her work is a full representation of who she really is and this has to do with her uncompromising attitude which never compromise for sales record. Well, I wasn’t intending to preview her new album content but somebody just had to spoil it for me; one ayuniter use this as his/her avatar :S
